Due to sensitive project details, this case study is presented with limitations.
Task
Together with a team of 2 designers and 3 developers, I designed a B2B interface for a technical aggregator to help the client collect and organise data for bidding and balancing electricity on the power distribution grid.

Goal
The goal was to create a Figma prototype that translates a complex business concept into a tangible product, allowing the client to secure collaborators and business deals. By visualizing the platform, stakeholders could grasp its value without deep technical knowledge. The prototype also served as the foundation to developing the platform into a fully functional product.

Agile approach
Avoided rigid designs, instead working collaboratively through wireframes to refine the product with client feedback. The client didn’t always have the answers on how they wanted the product to turn out, so by designing a bit at a time, the client was able to give concrete feedback before we continued. This turned out to be an important way of communicating to find the right solutions in an effective way.

The seamless platform allows the business to easily bid more of their collaborator’s resources to the power grid, which helps energy providers and their customers to save and earn money. Environmentally, the platform helps to create a more stable, sustainable grid with less need for polluting backup power.
